TORCH
The TORCH panel includes a group of pathogens that pose significant risks during pregnancy, potentially leading to miscarriage, congenital anomalies, or neonatal complications. TORCH stands for Toxoplasma gondii, Other (e.g. Treponema pallidum, Parvovirus B19, Varicella-Zoster Virus), Rubella virus, Cytomegalovirus (CMV), and Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV-1/2). Early and accurate detection is essential for prenatal screening and clinical decision-making.
TORCH PCR kits based on real-time PCR technology provide a sensitive and specific method for detecting TORCH pathogens in maternal and fetal samples. These molecular diagnostics tools offer accurate and reproducible results in routine and specialized laboratory workflows. Available in CE IVD-marked formats for diagnostic use and research use only (RUO) versions, these multiplex and singleplex assays support comprehensive screening of pregnant patients, high-risk newborns, and reproductive health investigations from clinical samples.
Only selected kits from our portfolio are mentioned in this category. Please find more EBV, VZV, CMV and HSV assays in category Herpes-virus infections.
