Others (subgroup of TORCH): Parvovirus, VZV, EBV, Treponema
The "Others" subgroup of the TORCH panel includes Parvovirus B19, Varicella-Zoster Virus (VZV), Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV), and Treponema pallidum (T. pallidum). These pathogens are associated with congenital infections, maternal-fetal complications, and a variety of systemic or neurological disorders. Early and accurate detection is essential for prenatal care, infection control, and clinical decision-making.
PCR kits targeting this subgroup use real-time PCR technology to provide sensitive and specific detection of viral or bacterial DNA in human samples. These molecular diagnostics tools offer accurate and reproducible results in routine and specialized laboratory workflows. Available in CE IVD-marked format for diagnostic use and as research use only (RUO) version, these PCR assays support are suitable for clinical workflows, applications such as maternal health research, congenital infection studies, and pathogen surveillance from clinical samples.
Only selected kits from our portfolio are mentioned in this category. Please find more EBV and VZV assays in category Herpes-virus infections.
