Innovative Solutions from Trusted Names in PCR Diagnostics

eDetect represents our main, most modern, and most advanced PCR diagnostic line. The first eDetect kits are to be launched in 2027/28. They are the result of our own new R&D department, meaning these products have been developed completely by Ecoli Dx. We are proud to use our own chemistry for the production of eDetect kits. Also, we are proud to use raw materials with EU origin only (the main components are from Germany and the Czech Republic). As the production takes place locally in our facility in the Czech Republic, we have absolute control over quality, which means improved warranty and support for you, as well as short lead times. All products are to be CE marked under Regulation (EU) 2017/746 (IVD-R). The upcoming portfolio will include two STI multiplex kits (CT-NG and MG-MH-US), two quantitative herpetic-viruses multiplex kits (CMV-EBV-HHV6 and HSV1-HSV2-VZV), quantitative kits for HBV and HCV, and detection kits for Toxoplasma gondii, Rubella virus, and Parvovirus B19.

eSens products are produced by Ecoli Dx in Buštěhrad/Prague in the Czech Republic and can be easily reffered to as the truly European AmpliSens®. eSens PCR kits are also designed for the detection of various infectious agens (A to Z of all infectious diseases) and genetic markers, covering areas such as: Sexually transmitted infections, Human papillomavirus (HPV) infections, Herpes virus infections or respiratory infections. Many of these kits are also designed for multiplex Real-Time PCR, allowing for the simultaneous detection of multiple pathogens in a single reaction, thereby increasing diagnostic speed and reducing costs. The story of eSens began due to the expiration of the CE IVD certification of AmpliSens® PCR kits, thus we decided to start our own production in the Czech Republic. This allowed us to offer alternative CE IVD-D marked PCR kits under our own brand eSens, covering most of the AmpliSens® product range. The portfolio of eSens includes 80+ different types of PCR kits, all of which contain the original AmpliSens® chemistry. In other words, eSens PCR kits are produced using the exact same polymerases, primers, probes, and solutions as the equivalent AmpliSens® counterparts. Only the packaging, labeling and certification are new for eSens compared to AmpliSens®. As a result, the composition of the kits and protocols (including thermal cycling programs) remain unchanged. This has made the transition from AmpliSens® to eSens seamless for many laboratories, enabling them to maintain their workflows unchanged while retaining CE IVD compliance. Additionally, eSens brand contains also a few kits which are composed from other than AmpliSens® components. These kits are marked NA (for Non AmpliSens®). Currently, the majority of eSens and eSens NA PCR kits is CE IVD-D marked, except those classified in group D according to IVDR criteria, which are supplied as RUO now.

ePure products are produced by Ecoli Dx in Buštěhrad/Prague in the Czech Republic. ePure is a brand of nucleic acid extraction kits and a fully automated extraction platform which utilizes magnetic particle extraction technology to efficiently purify nucleic acids from various sample types, including blood, tissues, and environmental materials. It accommodates the simultaneous processing of 1 to 12 samples per run and features a compact benchtop design with built-in UV lamp decontamination for enhanced safety. Complementing the platform, ePure extraction kits provide prefilled reagents and consumables tailored for specific applications, such as genomic DNA extraction from whole blood, viral nucleic acid extraction from serum or plasma, and total RNA extraction from mammalian tissues. These kits are designed for use with the ePure platform and are CE IVD-R marked as well as the platform itself, ensuring compliance of the complete workflow with European in vitro diagnostic regulations.

eQuantix is a family of new-generation Real-Time PCR thermal cyclers. They will be the result of our own new R&D department meaning these products have been developed completely by Ecoli Dx. We are proud to use our own temperature cycling technology along with other parts with EU origin. They are to be compact, high-performance instruments designed for sensitive and accurate nucleic acid amplification and detection. Featuring 32-well (currently at prototype stage, to be launched early in 2026) and 96-well capacity (to be launched later in 2026), they are to be ideal for medium to high-throughput laboratories seeking reliable and efficient Real-Time PCR analysis. The new generation of termal cycling technology will shorten run time roughly by 30 %. High power LED and CMOS Detector are to be used allowing detection in 5-channels: FAM, HEX, ROX/TxR, Cy5, Cy5.5. They will also feature very low laptop-like silent operation. And of course, they will be intended for use with any plastics/commercial kits (Open Platform).

AmpliSens® products are developed and produced by the Central Research Institute for Epidemiology (CRIE). Ecoli Dx is the authorized distributor of AmpliSens® products all over the world, with exclusivity in EU. The kits are known for their high sensitivity, specificity, and reasonable pricing. Most of them were CE IVD certified in the past (and some of them still are), indicating technical compliance with European standards for in vitro diagnostics. AmpliSens® Real-Time PCR kits are designed for the detection of various infectious agens (A to Z of all infectious diseases) and genetic markers. AmpliSens® portfolio includes 100+ different types of PCR kits, covering areas such as: Sexually transmitted infections, Human papillomavirus (HPV) infections, Herpes virus infections or respiratory infections. Many of these kits are designed for multiplex Real-Time PCR, allowing for the simultaneous detection of multiple pathogens in a single reaction, thereby increasing diagnostic speed and reducing costs. AmpliSens® also offers a variety of manual nucleic acid extraction kits tailored for different sample types and diagnostic purposes. Regarding CE IVD, the certification of all previously CE IVD marked PCR kits expired and all of them are available as RUO now. On the other hand, the certification of all supplementary PCR reagents and extraction kits had been updated and are available as CE IVD-R marked, ensuring compliance of the complete workflow with European in vitro diagnostic regulations.
