Human parechovirus
Human Parechovirus (HPeV) is a non-enveloped RNA virus that can cause a variety of illnesses, particularly in infants and young children. It is associated with conditions ranging from mild gastrointestinal or respiratory symptoms to severe infections such as neonatal sepsis, meningitis, and encephalitis. Early and accurate detection is important for clinical assessment and outbreak monitoring.
Human Parechovirus PCR kits based on real-time PCR technology provide a sensitive and specific method for detecting parechoviral RNA in human samples together with other pathoges. These molecular diagnostics tools offer accurate and reproducible results in routine and specialized laboratory workflows. Available in research use only (RUO) format, this multiplex PCR assay supports a wide range of applications including pediatric infection diagnostics, neurological infection screening, and viral surveillance studies from clinical samples.
