Human pappilomavirus infections
Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infections are among the most common sexually transmitted infections worldwide, with certain high-risk types linked to cervical, anogenital, and oropharyngeal cancers. Low-risk HPV types are associated with benign lesions such as genital warts. Early and accurate detection of HPV DNA is crucial for screening, diagnosis, and monitoring of HPV-related diseases.
HPV PCR kits based on real-time PCR technology provide a sensitive and specific method for detecting and genotyping HPV DNA in human samples, including genotypes classified as High-risk HPV (hrHPV), Low-risk HPV (lrHPV). These molecular diagnostics tools offer accurate and reproducible results in routine and specialized laboratory workflows. Available in CE IVD-marked formats for diagnostic use and research use only (RUO) versions, these kits support applications including cervical cancer screening programs, patient management, and epidemiological studies from clinical samples.
